Ag/Agcl Reference Electrode is the silver/silver chloride reference electrode is composed of a silver wire, sometimes coated with a layer of solid silver chloride, immersed in a solution that is saturated with potassium chloride and silver chloride.
Platinum titanium is a platinum metal oxide or platinum layer-coated on a titanium substrate. It is non-consumption, durable, and insoluble in the electrolyte. We can use platinum titanium anode for cathodic protection and electroplating.
Zinc Reference electrodes are generally implemented for the purpose of monitoring the anode in cathodic protection of buried or immersed metallic structures. It is made of high-purity Zinc alloy, ensuring accuracy and stability of potential measurements.
The electrode frame is made of stainless steel, coated carbon steel or Rubber. The electrode can be designed to fix in the structure. By means of specifically designed supports.
Cu/CuSO4 portable reference electrode implements a major usage in the cathodic protection System. Reference Electrode are in different shapes like disc, rod and strip with different dimension, which is also installed in the Heat exchanger to monitor the current supply of cantilever anodes.
MMO coated Canister anodes are commonly used for impressed current anode cathodic protection applications. These can be used to protect buried metallic piping in congested plant environments, to protect distribution or transmission pipelines in either distributed shallow ground beds or as horizontal remote ground bed anodes, and to protect other structures such as above ground or buried tanks and piling systems.

Cathodic protection system is an important method of preventing corrosion in underground pipelines, storage tanks, petroleum pipelines, offshore and onshore platforms etc. Cathodic protection (CP) is a technique used to control the corrosion of a metal surface.
GI Canister anode is filled with petroleum coke fill that improvise the conductivity of MMO Coated Tube, Strip or wire where the soil not having conductivity. Petroleum coke fill with low sulfur will much suits for the high resistivity soil. Canister anodes are installed vertically besides the oil pipes to avoid corrosion and horizontally installed in Tank bottoms. After some time the GI pipes are get rusted and the petroleum coke fill will be inside the soil that keeps the conductivity.

Impressed current systems utilize an external power source that provides protective current to mitigate corrosion activity.
MMO or Platinised coating is an excellent electrical conductor and giving well chemical stability, when it will be coated on Titanium or Niobium base, even in very low pH environments. MMO coating greatly prolong the life of the anode (low wear rate) and provide excellent chemical corrosion resistance such as acid condition.

Different types of anodes in canister anode is MMO wire, tube, mesh, strip anode which is comprised of a precious metal oxide coating applied to a titanium base. The metal oxide coating is completely stable, and does not allow the object to corrode which we need to protect.
The stable anode element passes current to a highly conductive calcined petroleum coke breeze. This backfill is well compacted inside a galvanized steel canister. To allow moisture to quickly migrate to the coke breeze for increased electrical conductivity, the MMO anode element is electrically connected to the steel canister - thereby accelerating the canister corrosion rate once the anode has been installed and energized.

GALVANISED STEEL CANISTER
Canister anodes are made from metallic alloys like steel with more negative electrochemical potential than the object to be protected. They are usually filled with coke fill to make a conductivity of burial anodes.Canister length and dia will be customized
Once at the jobsite and just prior to installation into the ground, it is suggested that small holes or slots be cut into the steel canister to allow any available groundwater into the canister. Care should be taken when cutting these hole or slots to avoid damage to the anode or anode cable.
